Hoe kan gebed effect hebben wanneer miljoenen mensen geen baan of financiële stabiliteit hebben?

"Door het geestelijk tegengestelde van de stoffelijkheid te gaan zien, de weg door Christus, Waarheid, zal de mens met de sleutel van de goddelijke Wetenschap de poorten van het Paradijs heropenen, die door menselijke geloofsvormen zijn gesloten en zal hij ontdekken, dat hij niet gevallen is, maar dat hij rechtschapen, rein en vrij is; dat hij voor zijn levenskansen geen almanakken hoeft te raadplegen en geen hersenleer hoeft te bestuderen om te weten, in hoeverre hij mens is.

De heerschappij van Gemoed over het heelal, de mens inbegrepen, is niet langer een open vraag, maar is bewijsbare Wetenschap."

Heb je ooit gebeden in een situatie met een moeilijke collega of buurman?

Hoe heb je de Bijbelse opdracht om 'uw naaste liefhebben als uzelf "(Matt.19: 19) in deze situaties uitgewerkt?

(Have you ever prayed about a difficult coworker or neighbor? How have you practiced the Biblical command to 'love thy neighbour as thyself' (Matt.19:19) in those situations?)

Onwetendheid

Wij kunnen niet ontkennen, dat Leven zichzelf in stand houdt en wij moeten nooit de eeuwigdurende harmonie van Ziel loochenen, alleen omdat er voor de sterfelijke zinnen disharmonie schijnt te zijn. Het is onze onwetendheid omtrent God, het goddelijk Beginsel, die de schijnbare disharmonie veroorzaakt en wanneer wij Hem werkelijk begrijpen, wordt de harmonie hersteld. Eens zal Waarheid ons allen dwingen de lusten en lasten der zinnen te laten varen voor de vreugden van Ziel.

God verbeiden

Bij het ontwaren van de oneindige taak, die de waarheid ons oplegt, houden wij stil — verbeiden wij God. Dan spoeden wij ons voorwaarts, totdat de onbegrensde gedachte in verrukking voortschrijdt en het onbeperkte begrip zijn vleugels uitslaat om de goddelijke heerlijkheid te bereiken.

Van Dale: ver·bei·den -beidde, h -beid (form) afwachten, verwachten

1) Wachten is een ogenblik voorbereiding om in een bepaalde situatie klaar te zijn voor de volgende stap

2) Wachten stelt ons in staat om onszelf te controleren en onze motieven te zuiveren

3) Wachten eist dat we leren op God te vertrouwen en verzekert ons dat niet wijzelf aan zet zijn.
