For many people Thanksgiving is a time to pause and be grateful for all the good experienced in the past year. But what about specifically giving gratitude to God—seeing God as the source of all good? The Bible says, “Offer unto God thanksgiving; and pay thy vows unto the most High” (Psalms 50:14).
Finding genuine gratitude in our hearts for God and God’s goodness in our lives not only makes us happier; it uplifts, transforms, and heals us. To explore more deeply the healing power of giving gratitude to God, bring your questions to this live chat with Christian Science practitioner and teacher Julie Ward.
About Julie Ward:  Julie lives with her husband outside of Atlanta, Georgia, where she grew up. She danced with a regional ballet company in Atlanta and became its associate director before leaving to become a full-time Christian Science practitioner in 1986. She has served her church in many capacities, but her favorite role is teaching Sunday School. In 2006, she became a teacher of Christian Science, and soon after she became a Christian Science lecturer. She has written a number of articles for the Christian Science Sentinel and The Christian Science Journal.
