About Douglas Paul: Doug has been Manager of the Human Resources department at The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston for the past five years. During his management career, which spans several decades and includes service in the academic (both for profit and not-for-profit) and business sectors, he has had the opportunity to discuss employment opportunities and challenges as well as performance issues, career goals, and retirement concerns with many people of diverse backgrounds and interests. His own career path has included several changes in direction and has benefited from thinking in fresh ways about employment.
