In recent years, more and more effort has been invested in archeological attempts to validate the authenticity of Bible stories. Sometimes new discoveries have confirmed these efforts, but many answers still elude researchers. But what if there were a different and even more authentic way to affirm the truth of the Bible? For example, Jesus said, “He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father” (John 14:12). This teaching indicates that followers of Jesus today can heal as he did, and by this healing, confirm the truth of Jesus’ healings recorded in the Gospels.
How can we heal as Jesus did? The Bible and Science and Health with Key to the Scripturesby Mary Baker Eddy answer that question. To explore this topic further, participate in this chat with Christian Science practitioner and teacher David Robertson, based in Stanfordville, New York, and Cedar Island, North Carolina.
