A year has passed since the tragic shootings at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut, and so, many parents will give their kids an extra hug of comfort during the Christmas season this year. One of the best ways to love and support our children is in prayer. Christian Science shows how prayer can be powerful and reliable to nurture, protect, guide, and heal children.
Christmas celebrates the birth of the child, Jesus, who represented the eternal Christ, God’s spiritual idea, here with us always. At Christmas we can celebrate the presence of the Christ with our children too, keeping them innocent, safe, and loved by God.
You’re invited to join this live audio chat with Christian Science practitioner and teacher Judy Olson from Westport, Connecticut. Bring your questions and prayers to join with others in supporting and cherishing children.
