Are you looking for divine direction? How do you know if an idea has been inspired by God?  Noah, Nehemiah, and certainly Jesus, as well as many others in the Bible were inspired and directed by God. Sometimes this direction was obvious such as when Moses saw a burning bush. Sometimes, as with Elijah, it was a still, small voice. Can we expect to actually hear divine guidance today, as people in the Bible did? And if we're looking for direction on careers, relationships, finances, and other issues, how does God guide us in these aspects of our lives?
Join Glory Holzworth, a Christian Science practitioner from Westford, Massachusetts, in a live chat, to explore how to recognize God's will and distinguish it from personal ambition or human will, and how to move forward confidently.
About Glory Holzworth: Glory has been in the full-time public practice of Christian Science healing since 2004. She is a former elementary school teacher, and she and her husband raised two children. Throughout those years, she continually listened for God’s direction and sought to do His will when facing challenges, finding clear, healing answers through prayer.
In addition to working and raising her children, Glory has been very active in church work, including teaching Sunday School and volunteering at a local women’s prison to share her love for the Bible.
Glory also served as a guide and supervisor of the tours at Mary Baker Eddy’s former home in Chestnut Hill, where The Christian Science Monitor was founded, as well as at The Mother Church, The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston. Speaking to thousands of tourists from all over the world, she found God’s guidance to be invaluable. She has published numerous articles in the Christian Science periodicals.
