Some of the greatest people of the Bible faced times when they were alone—Jacob and Elijah, to mention two. Yet God's love and sure guidance kept them going and led them to solid accomplishments. God can lead you too. Christ Jesus pointed to a spiritual fact that is true of us all: "I am not alone, because the Father is with me" ( John 16:32). And Mary Baker Eddy, the discoverer of Christian Science wrote, "Each individual must fill his own niche in time and eternity" (Retrospection and Introspection, p. 70).

About Diane Marrapodi: Throughout her life, Diane has experienced, firsthand, the value of approaching life from the spiritual perspective taught by Christian Science. She cherishes the fact that God's love and the truth of Christian Science are unchanging, eternal, and universal—available to all. The Bible and Mary Baker Eddy's discovery of Christian Science, recorded in her book Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, were the basis for Diane's reason for hope and healing of grief when she received word of her brother's suicide. Several years later, this same Science sustained her after a serious car accident, when the doctors who first treated her held out no hope that she would walk again or be in full possession of her mental faculties if she lived.
The constancy and effectiveness of Christian Science and its healing application led Diane, right out of college, to devote her life to its study, teachings, and public practice—serving first for a decade as a Christian Science nurse, and then as a Christian Science practitioner since 1981 and a teacher since 1985.
