Robin Hoadland
Do you have a passion in life? Does your work give you a sense of mission and purpose? Is there something in your life that motivates you to jump out of bed each morning with a sense of adventure and wonder? Or . . . do you find yourself yearning to break out of an endless routine and find something that really matters? Maybe it seems as if life is just an unfulfilling, unsatisfying, unhappy struggle, day after day?
Mary Baker Eddy didn't think so. She wrote, “Soul is the infinite source of bliss: only high and holy joy can satisfy immortal cravings” (Miscellaneous Writings 1883-1896,  p. 287). So what is this high and holy joy? And where can we get it?
You're invited to participate in a chat with Christian Science practitioner and teacher Robin Hoagland as she answers questions about how we can find our passion in life and experience the joy and satisfaction that come with it.
About Robin Hoagland: During college, Robin developed a raised-eyebrow reputation as the only rugby player on the team who didn’t drink—an outward expression of her commitment to spiritual living and healing in every activity in which she participated.  While graduating from Williams College magna cum laude and as a member of the Phi Beta Kappa Society, she feels that raising two children with her husband has given her the richest education of all.  Robin worked in publishing, public radio, and freelance writing before committing full time to sharing Christian Science with others. In 1999 she began advertising as a practitioner in The Christian Science Journal, and in 2006 became a teacher of Christian Science. She was a member of the Christian Science Board of Lectureship from 2007 until 2013 when she became a member of the Christian Science Board of Directors.
