Every four years, a remarkable thing happens: the world temporarily puts aside its concerns and focuses its attention on the Olympic Games. Besides the glitz and excitement, issues of safety, health, pressure to succeed, and athletic performance, can have a big impact on the outcome.
Even if you aren't an athlete, you can play an important role in the success of the Games by participating prayerfully. How can your prayers help players and the many who come to see the Games? Join this chat with Christian Science practitioner Tony Lobl of London, England, and bring your questions to further explore this important topic for our world.
About Tony Lobl: Brought up as the son of Jewish Holocaust survivors, Tony first felt God's presence turn his life around as a twelve year old struggling with depression. A few years later he had a significant physical healing just before entering Surrey University to study Modern Mathematics. Towards the end of his University career he was introduced to Mary Baker Eddy's Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures which satisfactorily explained to him his earlier healing experiences of God's love and introduced him to the timeless value of the Bible. Ever since then the understanding and practice of Christian Science has been his main pursuit in life while he first worked in the video industry and subsequently worked in various roles for the Church of Christ, Scientist. He and his wife Jenny live in London and they are both Christian Science practitioners.
