Lois Carlson, C.S.B.

2:00pm EDT - 3:00pm EDT
According to 2010 statistics, one in seven children in kindergarten through grade 12 either is a bully or has been bullied. Cyberbullying that uses social media is also a growing challenge. In some cases, young people are driven to suicide through pressures put on them by bullying.
This chat will explore the ways that prayer can empower children to face up to bullying and rise above it. Parents and young people are encouraged to join the chat, ask their questions about how to deal with bullying and how to break the cycle. Each participant's identity will be kept confidential. You'll have a thoughtful, non-condemning, and healing opportunity to communicate with this Christian Science practitioner and teacher.
